Segob Send airplane with 2 tons of pantries and supplies for BCS.

La Paz, Baja California Sur (BCS).- A Boeing 727 aircraft loaded with 2 tons of pantries, medical supplies, specialized machinery for rescue and 100 elements of the Federal Police and Civil Protection was sent late to the emergency declaration issued by the Secretary of the interior (Segob) to the 5 municipalities of Baja California Sur (BCS) for the passage of tropical storm “Lidia”.
This in order to support those who have been affected by this humanitarian support, while the elements will be deployed in strategic areas to collaborate with all evacuations carried out by the state government in areas at risk, mainly in the municipalities of Comundú, Loreto and Mulegé where the meteor is currently located.
They also informed that Ricardo de la Cruz Musalem, director general of Civil Protection of the Segob, is in the municipality of Los Cabos traveling along with other federal, state and municipal officials, in order to ensure that there are no more acts of any kind type that violate the security of the area.
Finally, they informed that Segob Civil Protection will continue to carry out preventive actions together with the Secretariat of Marine (Semar), the Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena) through the MX Plan, with the deployment of the Marine Plan and the DN-III Plan; for its part, the Ministry of Economy (SE) Continues to monitor the food supply of the population.
