El Squid Roe, and Cabo Wabo, remain the top two favorite party spots of the San Lucas nightclub scene, while the newest club on the block, Coco Bongo, continues attracting new visitors eager to see their extravagant acrobatic shows and wild, confetti falling, Las Vegas-style showgirl festivities.
The other Cabo San Lucas traditional nightclub bars with a long and short time in business history include the crowd pleasing antics of The Giggling Marlin, and La Vaquita. Located next door to El Squid Roe, the Mandala nightclub continues drawing large crowds, while others—who are not as jam-packed—but still very popular, consist of Pink Kitty, Tiki Bar and Crush.
And of course, the nightlife in Cabo could not survive without its less famous, but equally popular smaller places like The Saloon Bar, Beer Street and Plaza Mariachi; which features Jungle Bar, and Rips. Two local beer and alcohol serving clubs that are famous for their rock and roll live band performances that start at 8:00 PM and rage on until the wee hours of 3:00 AM.
Cabo Blue features live music almost every night of the week, with such popular local bands as Los Rancheros Tristes and Dos Huevos, and is joined in the live music bar scene by Solomon’s Landing, Tanga Tanga Sports Bar, Flip Flops and the little hidden gem, Two for The Road Jazz spot; located at the ground floor of Tesoro Resort Hotel.
