San Jose Restaurant Week 2019
On Friday, August 3, 2019 at the Acre Restaurant in San Jose del Cabo, Gustavo Laborde, Los Cabos Director of CANIRAC, Rodrigo Esponda Executive Director of FITURCA, and Thompson Hotel Manta Restaurant Chef Alex Branch, founder of the event, announced the date for the 2019 Restaurant Week; which has been set for Saturday, October 19 through Saturday, October 26.
CANIRAC was founded in June 1949, when eight enthusiastic restaurant owners decided to apply to the then Secretariat of National Economy, and the National Chamber of the Spiced Food Products Industry (CANIPAC), for membership. Arguing that its growing activity was reasonably valid for their petition presented by restaurant entrepreneurs in the Los Cabos area; as established in the Law of Chambers of Commerce and Industries.
FITURCA is the federal government agency which promotes, encourage and participate in tourism planning, programming and development within the Municipality of Los Cabos, Baja California Sur.
The San Jose del Cabo Restaurant Week will be a 7-day culinary celebration dedicated to highlighting the extensive cuisine of the Southern Baja Calfornia Region. Each of the participating restaurants will offer a special menu for only $ 800 pesos ($41 US Dollars).
