Hacienda del Mar celebrates its ninth international RCI recognition

Hacienda del Mar celebrates 9th international RCI – For nine years in a row, the team created by Hacienda del Mar has met the standards of excellence for guest service. This year was no exception for a celebration. During the afternoon of Tuesday, February 20, 2018, the group met at the award-winning Pitahayas restaurant for the RCI (Resort Condominiums International awards ceremony for the performance of each department.
The words of acknowledgment, by Juan Ignacio Rodriguez, Vice President of Business Development of RIC Mexico, were an inspiration for future growth at Hacienda del Mar. He commented on the importance of continuing to improve the quality of service and continue as a vacation club that is proud to leave a good mark for its hospitality.
The vacation club was awarded the “Excellence in Service” category, which is given to vacation developments that exceed expectations in areas of hospitality, service, amenities, maintenance, housekeeping, facilities and service in consumer centers. At the moment, only of five percent of the RCI member holiday clubs meet the requirements to be recipients of this award.
While the applause increased there was a pause before the presentation of a second recognition called the Gold Crown Resort which is given exclusively to vacation developments that have shown an increase in the service and quality. For fifteen consecutive years Hacienda del Mar Los Cabos has been within that category.
Recognition by the RCI is now one of the main factors used to determine which holiday club is selected for lodging. Clients are more demanding when choosing their tourist destination and where to stay. To be recognized for this award an evaluation is carried out by RCI members who visit the vacation club to evaluate the quality and service factors. A survey used after each stay to better obtain a credible result.
With a short speech the Director of Operations of Hacienda del Mar, Mr. Ernesto de la Parra, congratulated all the staff for the contribution they make each and every day to meet the goal of ensuring a pleasant experience for their guest. He mentioned that each department, housekeeper, bell boys, activities, reception, maintenance, and sales contribute a fundamental part to do an excellent job. Finally, he mentioned the importance of working together, both the operational staff and sales because both are essential to meeting the goal of receiving this award by the RCI exchange company.
