Cabo San Lucas, The Tourist Corridor, San José del Cabo, Puerto Los Cabos and Pacific coastline of Los Cabos.

Emerald Jewels – If you could see from above, high up in the sky, you might be able to appreciate the green jewels shining bright in the ochre sands of the southern Baja peninsula. Several emerald challenges with some of the most amazing views in this world will keep you astounded; those are the currently open golf courses and some more are in blue prints; Los Cabos has one of the most developed golf industries in Latin America.

Breathtaking ocean views, either from the Pacific side or the coastline of the Sea of Cortes and the impressive Baja desert, provided inspiration to all the golf designers that put their signatures on this region. Names like Jack Nicklaus, Tom Fazio, Greg Norman, Tom Weiskopf, Davis Love III, Pete Dye and Tiger Woods. Here is the list for the currently operating golf courses plus a few notes for you to know if you are planning to play in Los Cabos.

Pacific Side Golf Courses (Cabo San Lucas):

Diamante – El Cardonal
This was the design debut of Tiger Woods, an 18-hole championship with 7,363 yards course, par-72. Amazing views of the Pacific contrasting with natural arroyos and pristine sand dunes. It features a long front nine over the dunes and its back nine goes to higher ground.

Diamante – The Dunes
Par-72, 7,300 yards, designed by the 21 times winner of PGA Tour, Davis Love III, fronts dramatically the Pacific Ocean. A very high standard course and very well acclaimed by the critics. It was rated Top New International Golf Course in 2010.

Diamante – Oasis Short Course
This is the second course designed by Tiger Woods and the first par-3 course in Los Cabos.

Quivira Los Cabos
Jack Nicklaus signature, the club opened for play in 2014, it’s a par-72, 18 hole with 7,139 yards. Amazing views that include rugged cliffs, sand dunes and breathtaking views. Quivira’s golf course presents more ocean views than any other course in the area.

Tourist Corridor Golf Courses:

Cabo San Lucas Country Club
This course designed by Roy Dye is one of the first to be created in Los Cabos and has a view to Land’s End. Par-72, 18 hole, measuring 7,237 yards. It offers a lighted driving range that’s open until 11 pm most nights.

Cabo del Sol – Desert Course
Tom Weiskopf signature offers dramatic bunkering, several elevation changes and ocean views at the distance from all 18 holes. Par-72, stretches 7,049 yards and presents challenges for all skill levels.

Cabo del Sol – Ocean Course
An amazing 7,091 yards golf course; Designed by Jack Nicklaus, stretches more than a mile along the beach and rocky points of the Sea of Cortez coastline. It is a marvelous experience to play in this course with the breathtaking views and the challenges that presents in every hole.

Chileno Bay Club
18 hole, par-72, 7,260 yards. Tom Fazio signature. This is a course with an ocean view in every hole. Beautifully designed it features in the middle of the course a water body, Lake Chileno, a desalinated lake with the most amazing teal-blue color you have ever seen.

Cabo Real
A veteran course in Los Cabos, designed by Robert Trent Jones II with 20 years in operation. Par-71, 6,848 yards. This course has an excellent combination of views, Mountain, Desert and Ocean.

El Dorado
Another Jack Nicklaus signature golf course, par-72, 7,322 yards, ranked as one of the top courses in the world. Amazing desert landscapes with colorful natural arroyos and canyons, plus all the astonishing ocean views.

Palmilla
Another veteran course in the area, is known as the “Grand Dame of Los Cabos”. Offers 27 holes with more than spectacular and breathtaking views of the Baja peninsula, ocean and desert. It was jack Nicklaus first signature in Latin America. 3 different nines, Arroyo, Mountain and Ocean.

Querencia
This is a private golf course designed by Tom Fazio, 18 holes, par-72, and 7,070 yards. Beautiful Ocean views at the distance that complement the desert landscape with its natural arroyos and canyons.

San José del Cabo Golf Courses:

Club Campestre
An 18 hole, par-71, 7,055 yards designed by Jack Nicklaus it spreads across the rolling hills of the Sierra de La Laguna Mountains. It presents breathtaking views from every angle of the course. A jewel of Grupo Questro.

Vidanta
A 9 hole, par-35, 3,153 yards. It was built for soft play in 1987 and is semi-flat; also another veteran in the area, is the oldest course in Los Cabos.

Puerto Los Cabos – The Mission Course – The Marina Course
Front nine (The Mission) designed by champion Greg Norman, back nine (The Marina) designed by the legend, Jack Nicklaus. 7,461 yards, par-73, 18 holes. Absolutely astounding views, ocean and desert. And the course challenges of two great designers make this golf course very unique.
