Sabor a Cabo Rural 2017, 5th Annual Event

Los Tamarindos Farm to Table Restaurant was host for the 5th Annual Sabor a Cabo Rural event on December 3rd 2017 in Puerto Los Cabos, San Jose del Cabo. Here are of few photos from this 5th annual event.

The final event of Sabor a Cabo 2017 will take place at Quivira Los Cabos, Saturday, December 9, 2017, with tastings of more than 50 displays. Earth, Wind & Fire will be the featured entertainment.

We want to show the community and tourists once again the best of our regional gastronomy. Sabor a Cabo Rural was created to come together as a family. At the same time, boost the economy of communities and farms that have preserved the traditions of this land. The dishes are prepared with 100% local products from Baja California Sur, prepared by the restaurants that join Sabor a Cabo Rural interested in preserving traditional recipes among which birria, white barbecue, talayotes, roasted kid goat, chanfaina, discada, sweets, among others.

Manuel Castro Ceseña, director of the Municipal DIF System, said that in the 2017 edition of Sabor a Cabo Rural would benefit the children of the Municipal DIF programs. The funds collected will help to make renovations and adjustments to day care centers and school breakfast programs.
