Quarantine Extended Until May 30 for the Municipalities of Los Cabos and La Paz

Hugo López-Gatell, Mexico’s Undersecretary of Health, announced the recommendations made by the Scientific Group, which has been following up on the COVID-19 pandemic in Mexico.
Among the guidelines he announced is the extension of the National Campaign for Social Distance until May 30, since the peak of infections is expected to occur between May 8 and 10. The municipalities of Los Cabos and La Paz are listed among the municipalities that will remain in quarantine until May 30 with expected gradual return to normal activities as of June 1st.
Lopez-Gatell announced three guidelines with the extension of the quarantine for areas with contagion until May 30 being the first one. During his announcement he remarked that, in order for these actions to be effective, it is crucial for everybody to follow the instructions and guidelines established by the health and sanitary authorities and, most importantly, for everybody to Stay Home.
