EVERYTHING READY FOR THE IRONMAN LOS CABOS 2017 – Through a press conference at the Barceló hotel facilities located in San José del Cabo, at noon this Friday, November 10, the most relevant details of the 5th edition of the IronMan and the 3rd edition of the Iroman 70.3 were released, the so waiting and appreciated athletic event where it is contemplated the participation of 1500 athletes from 46 countries, all of them ready to live the great challenge and compete for the awards with a value of $ 50,000.00 Dollars in cash.
The competition will take life in three transitions, the first that will be swimming and will take place in Palmilla Beach – Mar de Cortez with 1.9 km, while cycling will be lived between the beautiful landscapes of the desert and the sea, with a tour of 180km for Ironman, and 90km for Iroman 70.3, as for the race, this time there will be a new route with paved climbs that will have a maximum of 17 hours for the Ironman and for 70.3, only 8h30m; in both Ironman there will be the participation of 55 triathletes who will fight to reach the goal and overcome their own challenges.

The symbolic awards will be held around 10:30 p.m. next to the goal, the winners will be informed later of the time and manner in which they will be able to have their award in cash. The time limit for each test is: swimming 1 h10m, after the departure time of the last wave, Bicycle: 5:00 hrs, after the departure time of the last wave of swimming and Race: 8:00 hrs, after the departure time of the last wave of swimming.
