Downtown San Jose del Cabo, Baja California Sur, Mexico.  The old fishing town of San José del Cabo has been the county seat of Los Cabos since 1928. Tourism to this area began to take off around 1970 became the destination for international travelers thanks to the beaches, sport fishing, quiet street of the area. There was an abundance of talented craftsmen, painters, musicians and other artists, as well as regular colorful fairs, events, and festivals. Today there are many festivities and other events happening on a regular basis.
