2nd Gastronomic Fest El Triunfo, November 19, 2017 – The association Restaurando Nuestra Historia, A.C. in collaboration with the International Community Foundation, at a press conference at the Pitayitas Bar, inside Pitahayas Restaurant, announced the second edition of its Gastronomic Festival with the support of generous sponsors and renowned Chefs of Los Cabos, Todos Santos and La Paz with the purpose of contributing their work to the project of improvements of La Casa de la Cultura of this emblematic and historical miner town of El Triunfo. The event will be on November 19 of the current year at the restaurant El Minero; will start at 2pm and end at 7pm; Festival director Selene Nikizuki Orozco, who heads the event, reports that last year thanks to the support of CAREM AC, IFC and the contribution of the society, work was done to restore the famous “La Ramona” chimney; This year, the objective is to donate the proceeds to the remodeling works of La Casa de la Cultura: these works will allow to leave a cultural legacy to the inhabitants, tourists and future generations, through a mural that will show the productive and social life in history of this village.
