Villa Serena Restaurant
Cabo San Lucas, Los Cabos, Baja California, Sur, Mexico.
Villa Serena Restaurant is located just off the freeway to San Jose del Cabo in the KM 7.5. Since 1990 this lovely palapa offers sweeping view to the Sea of Cortés, a tropical atmosphere with pool to enjoy the sun and the most exquisite Baja California dishes that makes our place the nook of Mexican specialties and seafood in Los Cabos.
Villa Serena Restaurant offers you the main palapa with capacity for 60 people, one bar and the principal restroom, a second floor around our pool with capacity for 60 people and our NEW upscale deck just in front of the pool with capacity for 120 people, definitely this is the perfect, relaxing and romantic ambience that you are looking for weddings, special events and pool parties.
In total we offer you capacity for 220 people. It’s this sense of humor and attention to detail that make Villa Serena Restaurant popular for consistently good food, service, and a tropical atmosphere that is both welcoming and relaxing. In all these years, I have never had a poor meal or service.
The food is Mexican without pretensions, with a great Lobster special for only $19.99. Portions are generous, the drinks are well mixed, and there’s even live music playing from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm from Wednesdays to Sundays that’s low enough to talk over, yet loud enough to enjoy.
Perfect for couples and families as well as for weddings, special events and catered pool parties. Villa Serena Restaurant is upscale in ambiance with down to earth prices. Open for breakfast and lunch from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm; Call for reservations. Telephone 145-8244.

Tiered patios frame a large swimming pool, allowing for Villa Serena’s casual, palapa-shaded seaside atmosphere, excellent seafood and Mexican cuisine, and gorgeous unobstructed views of the Sea of Cortés. The scene is so tropically beautiful, with palm trees waving in the breeze below and sailboats cruising offshore, that every drink should come with a tiny umbrella. Lobster tail is the specialty of the house, but freshly caught treasures abound; options include salty appetizers such as shrimp cocktail, oysters Rockefeller, and clam chowder, as well as entrées like seafood enchiladas and whole red snapper served with rice, beans, and steamed vegetables. Surf and turf fans will enjoy the Villa Serena special, which is loaded with shrimp, lobster, and lamb chops, while turf-only fans may want to opt for a selection from the premium lineup of hand-trimmed steaks. It’s hard to go wrong with anything on the dinner menu, which also has superb seafood salads and a shrimp-and-spinach-stuffed chicken breast. Just make sure you leave room for dessert. Villa Serena boasts several decadent meal cappers, including a delicious double chocolate cake. Km 7.5 on the Tourist Corridor, Cabo San Lucas, (624) 145-8244, www.villaserena restaurant.com.
