Saltwater Fly-Fishing reports since 1996

At San Jose, my daughter, Heather and I had time to fish a day (April 8, 2015) out of San Jose del Cabo with a flyrod and we did well on the Gordo Banks. We fished with Captain Angel on one of the Cabo Playa pangas, and he found fish for us. The Wahoo was a 1st for my daughter (and me!) because we were using a floro leader and it didn’t bite off. The Toro was just plain hard work, and the Amberjack was some of the best eating fish we’ve ever had. Great fun! Steve Cushing
