The U.S. Consulate General in Tijuana announced the reopening of the U.S. Consular Agency on March 2, 2015. The agency is located in the lower level at the Shoppes at Palmilla in San Jose del Cabo and offers routine and emergency service for American citizens visiting or residing in Los Cabos including notary service.  That service is by appointment only. Other services include passports and consular reports of births abroad. No visa-related information or services for non-Americans are provided. New hours Monday through Thursday: 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., except on both U.S. and Mexican holidays.
