“LOS CABOS IS WAITING FOR YOU”

PROMOTIONAL CAMPAIGN AND OTHER IMPORTANT ACTIONS, WHICH ARE BEING IMPLEMENTED FOR TOURISTS TO VISIT OUR DESTINATION AGAIN.

Los Cabos, as a world-class tourist destination, continues to prepare to carry out a series of improvements to receive our tourists. , as long as the conditions for it are given, since we will depend on several factors, however, we are working on many aspects that concern us, so that as soon as the State Health Security Council gives the approval , we can attend to them with all sanitary measures and minimizing any risk, working with the State Government; the Los Cabos Tourism Trust (FITURCA) which is the entity in charge of all the promotion of Los Cabos and where the vast majority of the Associations and providers of tourist services participate, they are carrying out many actions and I want to list for this occasion, the five most important:

1.- Clear and permanent information from FITURCA; since this situation began; to all our business partners and anyone who enters the official portal, both in Spanish and English, about the current situation of this contingency at the destination on this page:

2.- FITURCA works together with all the service providers of the destination and with the participation of the health authorities, preparing a single protocol, so that we all have the same information and work in the same direction, when activities begin.

3.- Also, we are working on continuous dissemination campaigns, such as the one called “Los Cabos te espera”; so that all business partners continue to keep our destination in mind for their clients’ next vacations and have the confidence that they will come to a safe place.

4.- Another vital aspect that FITURCA is carrying out are the virtual seminars through the various digital platforms or the so-called “webinars”; aimed at travel agents, to report the latest news of the destination and also, focused on providing more information on the most important activities in Los Cabos.

5.- Based on all of the above, we must all be prepared (State and Municipal Government and private initiative); by the time authorization is given; by the health authority, to start the gradual opening of activities, especially those in Los Cabos.

Let’s hope that all citizens follow the health instructions, since the more we respect them, the faster we can go back to the “new reality”; However, as I mentioned in the paragraphs above, this return will be multi-factorial, since we will also depend on the opening of borders of the countries that send tourists, the gradual increase in flights, the economic situation of the people and most importantly , the confidence you have to visit Los Cabos.

Unfortunately, many businesses will not be able to bear this contingency and will be forced to close their doors definitively, and those who will have the opportunity to continue must improve, adapt to circumstances, as crises give us the opportunity to be better and destiny. He will continue working, mainly to transmit that trust with the aforementioned actions and many more, so that the tourist returns as soon as possible and resurfaces like the phoenix, as we have already done many times, since Los Cabos is unstoppable … !!
