La Catrina Restaurant and Bar

Cabo San Lucas, Los Cabos, Baja California Sur, México

La Catrina Restaurant & Bar is located along the beach in front of Cabo Villas and near the Pescador Fisherman statue and boat at the bottom of the street leading to Medano Beach, The Office and Mango Deck. The former Baja Cantina Beach Club, the swing seats around the bar remain. While striving to make its own distinction as the new kid on the block, or the beach in this case, La Catrina offers its guests an affordably priced menu that includes a few Mexican/Cabo San Lucas standards; such as traditional chicken enchiladas covered in green or red sauce, cheese quesadillas, fire cheese and potato skins, steaks, and octopus.

The Shrimp Festival, and the Mexican combo, that is served with a chicken enchilada, and Poblano stuffed pepper are also delicious menu items. La Catrina’s kitchen also cooks up a delicious steak and a lobster plate for dinner and is open early for a breakfast. Another treat, which is a favorite of both tourists and locals alike, is the fire show Mexican coffee presentation.

The guacamole is also prepared table side and served in a gray-colored stone bowl. A bottled water at La Catrina costs $4 USD and the drink cocktails are priced at $9 USD, with a budget-friendly two for one margaritas daily special .Their Mango daiquiris considered quite extraordinarily delicious. Like many establishments located at Medano Beach, dress code is casual. La Catrina Restaurant & Bar is open from 8:00 am – 11:00 pm. On Taco Tuesdays, the carne asada, carnitas and al pastor tacos are available for one U.S. dollar each. $2 dollars for fish or shrimp. Avenida del Pescador. (624) 143-9561. Playa Medano.
