HEADLINES June 20, 2016: The Eastcape Compound Meeting is a historic summit place of the Cabo San Lucas Marlin Mafia held at the home of kingpin Chris “the Fish Killer Golden held every year at the famous EASTCAPE Compond, known as the “Marlin house of horror” on June 20, 2016. Allegedly, the meeting was held to discuss various topics including Marlin loansharking, Channel Cat trafficking and Bluegill gambling, using nets in farmponds, along with dividing the illegal operations controlled by the great “Jerry “Crappi Face” Chapman the supposed leader of the Marlin family. With An estimated 100 Marlin Mafiosi members from the United States, Mexico, Panama, Italy, and Cuba are thought to have been at this meeting. The Boss Chapman, now head of the renamed Marlin Mafia de Cabo family, initially called the meeting as a way to recognize his new power as Boss of All Bosses.

Local and state law enforcement became suspicious when a large number of expensive cars bearing license plates from around the country arrived in what was described as “the sleepy hamlet of the Eastcape.

Chris “the Twirp” as some people call him, was seen giving baskets of Mangos and Avacados to each black Cadilac that arrived as sign of respect:, as Darrell described. Darrell went on to say I don’t know these clowns that here, all I know is, JC is walking around in heaven, slapping everyone on the back as if he is some sort of God and Chris is doing everything JC says. I just wish Chris had a backbone and stop catering to that idiot JC. Darrell says: I don’t know whats goin on here I wish it would just get back to normal!!! I will let you guys know next week what is happening, I really don’t know yet.

Jc Sportfishing Charters is a family owned and operated business and has been fishing in Cabo San Lucas for the past 18 years. Jerry, explains that his charter business is geared more for families and novice anglers, making sure everyone who charters a boat with him have a great time and lots of fun. We welcome families, and groups. We want everyone who fishes with us to take all the sites in and have a memorable experience. This is what is most important to us. We have and do a few tournaments each year and can cater to fisherman who might be interested in tournament fishing. Well lets get on with the fishing report for this past week.

WEATHER: Still about the same as last week with nice days and some wind in the afternoons and evening. We have had some very nice weather over the past week. I was out last night and we had some pretty strong north winds that were pretty cool, looks as if they were coming off the Pacific. I think in the afternoons if your fishing on the pacific side expect some rough rides as it has been blowing pretty good in the afternoons. Really as far as temperatures its been really warm in the day time with mostly sunny days and cooler evenings.
WATER: Warm water is moving into the pacific side and we think the fishing action will improve. Over the last 2 weeks there has been a huge difference in the water temperatures on the East Cape compared to closer to Cabo on the Pacific side where there is like a 10 degree difference in water. East Cape some areas are 84 degrees and here close to Cabo on the Pacific it is 74 degrees and colder in some spots, so quite the contrast and this will effect the fishing in both areas as we will be catching something completely different from them boys on the East Cape. http://www.tempbreak.com/index.php?&cwregion=cb
BILLFISH: We have had days over this past week where we have landed multiple Marlin. The Marlin fishing has been super hot with lots of Striped Marlin being landed from Grey Rock to the 95 spot, including the 1150 spot and most are being caught with live bait, lures and ballyhoo. The average size of marlin being caught is 90lb to 150lb which is basically the Striped Marlin average size. So no shortage of fishing action this past week with our boats doing very well on all species.
DORADO: They are starting to show up in better numbers but still nothing major yet. Really slowed down this week with some Dorado being caught inshore but they seem to be small ones. Some of the fish being caught have been 20lb to 30lb but mostly smaller ones inshore.
SWORDFISH: Havent heard of any caught this week.
WAHOO: Action for Wahoo has been pretty goss as of lately. If you get up early and head toward Cabaza Ballena or Whales Head here in Cabo you will run into some Wahoo using mauraders inshore, in this area. THERE WAS A 60LBS caught this week in this area.
TUNA: Chumming with sardines has been the method this last week for Tuna. Lots of football size Tuna and some ranging in the 20lb to 30lb range. If you get past the football size fish and can drop some live bait below them you will find the big Tuna. The smaller Tuna is hitting cedar plugs and king busters.
INSHORE: Good action inshore all week with lots of Roosters and Sierra, even some Yellowtail being landed. The pangas have been doing well with Roosters with some nice ones being landed and ranging from 30lb to 40lbThe Rooster fishing has been going off up and around the Light Hose on the pacific.Pangas are having a pretty rough ride this week on the pacific side, but for the hardcore fisherman they love that stuff. So if your into getting wet and sloppy in a Panga head on out cause the action is good inshore. Also, some guys have been catching Skip Jack and Jack Crevail close to shore.
