Chef Kris has a deeply rooted background in fine dining, having spent his 20+ year career from his start as a young apprentice in the top kitchens in Vancouver to leading them as executive chef. He has developed a unique style focusing on the best local ingredients and utilizing classic as well as modern techniques. Having moved to Los Cabos in 2016, Chef Kris has enjoyed working with the local farmers, fisherman and purveyors who supply a bounty of local products to experiment with. And why ‘Taba’? Well, you should check out the Tabachin tree in the yard at our HQ, it’s iconic, just like our food; and its shade is our favorite place for a cocktail, come join us sometime.
