Mariscos El TORITO started business in a typical wagon under a tree in the year 1992 in Mazatlan, Sinaloa. They offered cold dishes, cocktails and special ceviches. In 2001 the restaurant opened its first branch in Los Cabos, Baja California Sur, also from a cart, and was a success among the residents. The restaurants earned a mention in the American newspaper, the famous New York Times, who comments on its taste, quality, and excellent service.
Mariscos El Torito currently has restaurants located in Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan, and Culiacan, with plans to open another in San José del Cabo.
