La Pintada Sabores de Baja

La Pintada Sabores de Baja is located across the street from the Los Cabos Fire Department, the police sub station and the city’s post office. La Pintada’s Spanish Colonial building, is easily one of the most recognizable structures when entering downtown Cabo San Lucas. The big Brewery sign above the entrance and stainless steel tanks in the window are a bold invitation for visiting micro beer loving guests and enthusiasts. La Pintada offers a good variety of local craft beer and whether patrons arrive for the drinks or to dine, they won’t be disappointed.

There is complimentary homemade bread and a chimichuri sauce that is considered amazing. There is oregano, olives and tomato baked into the bread for a yummy start. Other delicious La Pintada dish items to choose from the menu are the tasty pork Tostaditas, the huge Imperial Shrimp wrapped in bacon, Margherita thin crust Pizza, Peruvian ceviche (made with catch of the day Sea Bass), Tuna Tartar, Greek salad, chicken mole tostada, juicy grilled hamburgers and a mild and tender plate of lamb. The wings at La Pintada are also all the rage as are the lamb tacos. On Wednesdays and during other various hours of the day, the beer is two for one. The beer choices include Oatmeal Stout, Porter, Dubbel, Dubbelbock, and the bottled Diablo Blanco.

The margaritas served at La Pintada are considered are strong and delicious. There are sports watching television sets around the bar and within the classy, upscale establishment. The service of course, is as excellent as one might expect from any five star restaurant or hotel. For appetizers, it is highly recommended that seafood loving guests sample the carpaccio de pulpo (octopus), which may quite possibly be the best in all of Baja California. For dessert, the date rolled in coconut is a must try; as is the tequila tasting offered at this pricey elegant restaurant and brewery.
