Denni’s Catering founder and chef, Denis Gabriel, refined his cooking skills at the the famed “Ecole Hoteliere” culinary school in his native Marseille, France. Denis further honed his passion for the culinary arts gaining international experience working in such prestigious hotels and restaurants, as The Royal Festival Hall and The Savoy Hotel in London, England, The Hotel Fleur du Lac of Geneva, Switzerland and The Windsor Hotel and World Trade Center in Melbourne, Australia. Denis also gained firsthand experience of the essential ingredients of gastronomy while worked the harvest in the Australian wine country, collecting black pepper, cloves and cinnamon in remote Asian jungles.
In 1995, when he arrived in Cabo San Lucas with only a U.S. dollar ($1) in his pocket, Denis felt he had found home at last. It was here in Cabo, where he met his wife, Claudia, and soon started cooking for his neighbors in the upscale Pedregal residential gated community. This led to his catering weddings and corporate events, which eventually grew into the largest catering business in Los Cabos. Denis’ cooking repertoire includes international and fusion cuisine of French, Asian, Italian, Indian, Mediterranean and Mexican origins. Denis’s services range from catering weddings, groups, corporate events, to cooking as a private chef. His international food selection includes breakfast, lunch, specialty dinners, and childrens´ menu, and he also provides meal choices for holiday and celebration packages. After more than 18 years ago in Los Cabos, the quality of Denni’s Catering service and professional staff has blossomed into a banquet house, whose capacity can entertain and feed up to 2,000 people.
Denni’s Catering actively participates in the largest community events in Baja California Sur, such as the International Cabo Film Festival, Sabor a Cabo, and Chefs al Rescate (Chefs to the Rescue).
