At last count, the rock and roll themed restaurant chain Hard Rock Cafe had 175 locations in 53 countries. The Los Cabos location opened in December 1995 , and it has been showcasing hearty comfort food favorites, vintage rock star memorabilia, and live music ever since.

Want to see a hat owned by Elvis, boots worn by Keith Moon, or a guitar played by Robert Plant? This is the place.

Because Hard Rock is part of a chain, the menu is much the same in Cabo San Lucas as it is in other destinations. Chef Reyes Apodaca’s focus is on casual American-style fare like barbecue, burgers, sandwiches, and shakes, but there are also a few Mexican menu staples like tacos and fajitas, as well as a delicious Mexican Angus beef burger topped with melted jack and cheddar cheeses, fresh guacamole, Hard Rock grilled salsa. and jalapeños. Lighter, healthier options such as seafood and salads are also available.

Even with the hard-rocking ethos, this is a family-friendly eatery. You¹ll find a children¹s menu and enough brownies, cakes, cookies, cobblers, and thick milkshakes to satisfy any youngster’s sweet tooth. Of course, adults may prefer to concentrate on entrée options like the wild Alaskan sockeye salmon and New York strip steak, or the creative cocktail menu.
