Other top options on Médano Beach include Nikki Beach Club and Baja Brewing Company. The former is home to the area’s hippest poolside party scene, and for the Fourth is offering all-day barbecue and other American-style pleasures from its seaside location at ME Cabo Hotel. The latter is set rooftop at Cabo Villas Beach Resort and Spa, and it guarantees a spectacular spot from which to watch the fireworks, as well as American menu favorites like burgers and pizzas, and the smoothest sipping craft beers in Los Cabos.

Downtown Cabo San Lucas

For early and late celebrations, head to downtown Cabo San Lucas. Sammy G’s, a new sports bar–its 106-inch television redefines the term big-screen, making this the perfect place to watch Tuesday’s soccer match—kicks off the Fourth of July festivities with $1 U.S. hot dogs and $100 peso pizzas (about $8 U.S.) from noon to 4 p.m. Sammy G’s is air-conditioned, no small consideration during the summer months, and it features a regulation-sized pool table and dart boards for those in a sporting mood.
