Madeira’s Bistro-style dining recalls back to the owner Rodrigo Ainsa’s youth in France. Madeira feels of the genuine from-the-grownd-up spirit you’d find in a true Italian family own deli.
Madeira isn’t at it for the profit, the hope is to invest in itself until whole. To continue to refine its nature until it can be solidified in beauty, character, and quality. Sacrifices a plenty to have made it so far, and many more to come to becoming. To nurture this nature is to seed a kind of necessary weed, something that may go beyond the flowerpatch, fearless into rougher terrain, into the obscure.
If Madeira was to grow into itself, I know its health would allow diversity to grow. I’ve of late found many restaurant in Cabo, led by the passionate few, who willfully stand their ground and righteously impose the rigorous quality that true life experience demand. To create meaning full life experiences, to resist the banalities of life, to resist failure is intense and crushing, here not much thrives. We need somewhere, where the different may fortify itself so that it might go out into the world and make its way known. Madeira, because of Rodrigo’s nature is a place where this is possible.
