Daikoku Los Cabos

Daikoku Los Cabos

Located in the heart of downtown Cabo San Lucas, Daikoku, is invariably, without question, the best Japanese restaurant in all of Los Cabos and quite possibly the entire Southern Baja California Peninsula. From the wooden water wheel, Koi fish pond, and serene outdoor landscape, the dining experience at Daikoku, is by far; quite exceptional. Everything at Daikoku is delicious beyond belief. Their sushi, their soups, the beef or chicken Teriyaki hot plates, and the service of course, is also some of the most professional and friendly in all of Cabo.

The great dining reputation of Nicksan Sushi Restaurant in Cabo San Lucas is one that was born of their splendidly prepared menu dishes that vary and include everything from their Tuna Tostadas, Serranito Sashimi, Lobster Roll, Tempura, and the Spicy Pan-Fried Fish; served with spicy Cajun sauce. The appetizers and fresh healthy salads at Nicksan are a nice way to start a fine lunch or delightful dinner.

The Nicksan location at The Shoppes in Palmilla, is equally as popular, where it has been serving the San Jose del Cabo community, and Hollywood jet set tourists eager for a great Japanese-style meal for the past 15 years; after opening its doors in 2005. Some of Nicksan’s 14 different appetizers feature tuna and sea bass Sashimi slices, baked in mango sauce scallops with fresh mushrooms, and soft shell spicy crab. Dinner entrees include grilled chicken, beef or seabass Teriyaki, pan-fried fish, and locally fresh pan-fried curry flavored oysters from Todos Santos.

The service, staff, and food at Misaky have been applauded as outstanding during the first year the restaurant has been open on the grounds of the first class, 5-star Solaz Resort Hotel. The fresh fish, and sushi quality are as good as you will find anywhere in the world. The gorgeous ocean views are an additional treat as is Misaki’s innovative Green Tea Tiramisu.

Imomo Sushi House, located on the Cabo San Lucas Marina’s Golden Zone is a Japanese style restaurant serving savory and delicious, hand-prepared dishes. The sushi and Japanese plates are inspired by tradition, but mixed with modern and unique flavors. Open for lunch and dinner between 12:00 Noon – 10:30 PM, Imomo’s offers hot udon or wanton soup, for those cool evenings and the harbor view terrace along the marina’s waterfront, is also an enticing reason to enjoy lunch and dinner. Their Imomo Asian Bistro offers a great selection of Asian cuisine like Thai-food, Chinese, Cambodian, and Japanese dishes.

The International menu at Solomon Landing includes selections of Japanese cuisine from their Sushi Bar. The crispy rolls are a mouthwatering delicious order of 12 and the Serranito and Pepper Sashimi are two other tasty plate choices from their Sushi menu selections. Lobster and shrimp are the yummy specialty items that have made Solomon’s landing the world famous choice of Guy Fieri who gave the restaurant high praise in his Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives TV list of fabulous places to dine.

Fisherman’s Landing, located near the Cabo San Lucas Marina Golden Zone, is a wonderful dining experience with its spectacular harbor and yacht views, and delicious international menu that includes Japanese style cuisine. The great service, and cozy atmosphere, only heighten the dizzying array of menu selections that include deliciously prepared Sushi.
