Most of the restaurant’s memorabilia is dedicated to the great Pancho Villa, liberator of the Mexican people during the revolution. In addition to the customary features and ambiance of an authentic Mexican restaurant, Jazmin’s also offers some unique features including a book exchange and ice cold air conditioning – a must-have during the summer months.
The restaurant also offers a brand new outdoor dining area, perfect for cooler Cabo days. All in all, Jazmin’s delivers an imaginative Mexican restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner in a great location with reasonable prices. Patrons can choose from a variety of fish, meat, and vegetarian selections. Jazmin’s salad, topped with cucumber, fresh regional cheese, chicken strips and a dry Chile dressing is only $8. Jazmin’s special, a chicken breast filled of seafood, and covered with chipotle sauce and fried banana is a truly unique dish for about $17. Also try one of their many delectable seafood dishes prepared in a variety of mouth-watering ways. For vegetarians, Jazmin’s offers a Veggie Combo, served on a large platter with Chile Relleno, quesadillas, and enchiladas, companied by a side of rice, beans, guacamole, and delicious mole sauce. Be sure to save room for dessert. The Bananas Flamae and Flan al caramel, served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, are out of this world ($4.50-5.50)! Ask for special menu option for children.

Succumb to the desire to experience and enjoy everything Mexican at Jazmin's Restaurant, located in downtown San José. From the moment one steps into this casual, air-conditioned establishment, there's no question that whatever you order will be 100% authentic Mexican fare.
Surrounding the brightly-colored clothed tables is a variety of historic photos of pistol-wielding, pulque- (strong homemade Mexican liquor) drinking Mexican men, while decorative flags cover the length of the restaurant's ceiling. Jazmin's oversized bowl of chunky tortilla soup prepares the palate for the delectable entrées to choose from. Ranging from $10 to $23 U.S., there's something for everyone here. Seafood fans will rave about the Fish Florentine, covered in grated cheese and vegetables, and real Mexican food lovers will recognize perfection in the sesame seed covered chicken in mole sauce, which covers the length of the platter and is served with rice and beans. In addition to the traditional Mexican dishes, there are also plenty of shrimp and other seafood platters to tempt the tummy. During high season, be sure to ask about the live music.
