The new Baja Lobster Company located in Cabo San Lucas Marina Golden Zone on the waterfront, has just raised the bar for culinary excellence and fine dining another big notch.
Few restaurants can boast the magnificent view of yachts, sunsets over Lands End mountains, professional service, and original seafood dishes of this establishment.
By day, the malecon (boardwalk) hums with activity as people board boats for tours and big game fishing. At night, the area transforms into one of the most romantic spots in Cabo with soft colored lighting, cool jazz, stars and colorful neon signs mingling their reflections in the water.
Creative lobstery begins here. Chef Samantha Tirado brings adventure to the table with dishes like Black Goddess Lobster - succulent medallions of lobster, sautéed with veggies and a secret sauce.
There’s lobster dishes with coconut curry, in mild Poblano sauce, classic Thermidor and many more. For something on the Caribbean side – go for the Lobster Tacos in Banana Leaves.
His Sea Star salad is destined for the seafood hall of fame. Fresh mixed greens are mixed with bite-sized pieces of octopus, scallops, calamari rings and balls of 3 kinds of melons.
With the tamarind/vinegar dressing – this dish is what you came to Cabo for. My Crustacean Bisque arrived with crab, lobster, and prawns in a rich, lobster cream soup – at a just-right temperature for one of Baja’s cooler evenings.
Meat selections include offerings of Filet Mignon, Arrachera, chicken Florentine, and chicken in peanut sauce. Homemade desserts include apple strudel, lemon pie and Three Chocolates Cake for the wicked. Enjoy your favorite margarita, bar or coffee drinks and let time go by here on the waterfront. One can dine inside in air-conditioned comfort, outside on the terrace, or in the bar suspended over the water, where you can almost touch the yachts.
