ExpoTequila y Artesanias Los Cabos 2008 is an international event honoring the magnificent icons of México’s history and culture in a celebration of all things 100% Mexicano. During this four-day festival with an impressive array of premium tequilas, authentic and traditional cuisine, mariachi music, folklorica, and original artisan and art work, more than 5,000 people are expected to attend.
Representatives from many parts of México will participate in this exciting expo in order to showcase their products; create market exposure; secure relationships with local restaurants, hotels, and other retail outlets; and acquire brand recognition here in México, in other parts of North America, and abroad. In addition, Los Cabos itself will be featured as a premier tourist and resort location, paradise at Land’s End.
The expo will also highlight Los Cabos’ commitment to the environment and ecological preservation, focusing on the effects of global warming and the measures being taken for the protection of our glorious whales. Renowned artists will show their work, and Sra. Lupita Infante, the daughter of one of México’s most beloved entertainers, Pedra Infante, will accompany the moveable museum of her father’s life and work.
ExpoTequila y Artesanias Los Cabos 2008 opens on Thursday, November 20 and runs through Sunday, November 23. This event is scheduled to take place during the celebration of Mexican Revolution Day and the Thanksgiving holiday when tourism will be at a peak. Hours for the general public are 3-10 pm, with special earlier hours for vendors.
Participating purveyors hail from Los Cabos, La Paz, Todos Santos, Todos Santos, Mazatlán, Tijuana, Ciudad. Juárez, and Guadalajara, as well as California US.
