Hurricane Season
Cabo San Lucas, Los Cabos, Mexico

Hurricane Odile - September 14 and 15 2014

Hurricane Paul - formed off the western coast of Mexico on October 21, 2006 as a tropical storm. At 8:00 pm PDT, 22 October 2006 Tropical Storm Paul has intensified to a category one hurricane. Downgraded to a Tropical Storm with the 8:00 am PDT, 24 October 2006 advisory, Paul moved past Los Cabos later that night.

Hurricane Lane 2006 - this Tropical Storm intensified to a category three hurricane and was headed for Los Cabos before turning east and making landfall, September 16th, on mainland Mexico north of Mazatlan.

Hurricane John 2006 - has left the Los Cabo area and things, for the most part, are back to normal. We were without internet service until around 12 noon on Monday, September 3rd.

Hurricane Ignacio (August 23 to 26th, 2003) - Hurricane Ignacio, was the one that wasn't for Cabo San Lucas and Los Cabos. We were expecting huge amounts of rain and big seas. It didn't happen - the hurricane came within 100 miles of us and then went into the Sea of Cortez, completely missing us here in Cabo San Lucas.

Hurricane Juliette - (September 26, 2001) - The port in Cabo San Lucas was closed from Wednesday September 26th until October 2nd. Hurricane Julliette was about the nastiest storm I've seen here in Cabo.
