The cleanup process continues. As these photos show, it was a beautiful day in Cabo today. The beaches are getting clean up more each day. More businesses are reopening. Some of these pictures show a lot a damage but it is difficult for pictures to show how hard the town and everyone is working to undo the damage of Juliette.

05 October 2001 - This is the view from the east side of Las Palmas Restaurant looking toward Melia San Lucas and Pueblo Bonito Resorts. A lot of the beach has washed away but will return with tidal actions.
05 October 2001 - This view looks back toward Club Cascadas de Baja from the arroyo between Cascadas and Villa del Palmar. I am standing on a new strand of beach that is now about 50 to 100 yards further out into the sea than last week.
05 October 2001 - This view looks across the from of Las Palmas Restaurant where the terrace was prior to the hurricane. The restaunt will be open in a few days while they rebuild the terrace.
05 October 2001 - The concrete retaining wall and main section of the restaurant is all that remains of Billygan's Island Restaurant. The palapa was destroyed. Cleanup is well underway. They will probably be serving cold beer again in a few weeks.
05 October 2001 - View from the restaurant section of Billygan's looking toward Hotel Hacienda Beach Resort. 05 October 2001 - Looking toward Villa del Palmar from the patio of Mango Deck.
05 October 2001 - Looking toward Villa del Palmar from the new sand bar in front of the arroyo between Cascadas and Villa del Palmar. 05 October 2001 - A lot a dirt was carried out to sea from this arroyo. To the right is the entrance road for Cascadas and Villa del Palmar. Cascadas and Land's End can be seen in the background.
