After the passage of Hurricane John through Baja California Peninsula more than 2 weeks ago, the communities of The East Cape and the town of Mulege, (about an hour’s drive north of Loreto) struggle to rebuild their homes and repair damages.
Buenavista, La Rivera and Los Barriles on the East Cape were the hardest hit areas in Los Cabos.
The Mexican government as well as non-governmental organizations and charities join efforts to help the affected communities.
YO SOY MULEGE AC is a non-profit, non-governmental organization (NGO), registered with the Government of Mexico. It was created to respond to cases of local area emergencies
The role of YO SOY MULEGE, AC at this time is acting as a conduit between the possible sources of aid, the affected disaster areas in Mulege and the government.
