Sushi Time Fish Report to March 07

Sushi Time Fish Report for the Week of March 1st thru the 7th, 2014 Honestly, the fishing action has been really slow this past few weeks.  Overall, not a bad week of fishing however, what it lacked in quality was made up for in numbers, normally this time of year, we’re chasing cold water inshore fish.  Species like Bonito, Trigger, Sierra and Skip jack.  If conditions are right, we’re also getting the big yellowtails as well.  With very windy conditions which is always a bummer for panga fishing and an average temperature of 82º F, with...

Sushi Time Fish Report to February 21

Sushi Time Fish Report for the Week of February 14th thru the 21st, 2014 Another slow week that was saved by a sudden chew that turned up some nice dorados.  We had early in the week the usual winter winds and a very bright full moon, this never helps with the fishing or with our ability to get live bait, diminishing even more our chances to catch good quality fish this week. Windy conditions for most of the week, that slowed down towards the end. Average temperature of 85º F, with cloudy skies and an average water  temperature of 72º F, cool...

Sushi Time Fish Report to February 12

Sushi Time Fish Report for the Week of February 7th thru the 12th, 2014 Windy conditions for most of the week, but has slowed and its not to bad now, the fishing reflected it as well, with an average temperature of 85º F, with partly cloudy skies and an average water  temperature of 70º F, cool water temperatures over the last 2 weeks has definitely slowed fishing, especially the Dorado. This is to be expected as we can’t have great fishing all the time.  Luckily when the cool water comes in we can expect the Yellowtail and Sierra.  A slow...
