Temps in the mid 80’s and water temps in the mid 70’s, combined with mostly calm seas have kept the fishing hot as well. The Striped Marlin bite is holding strong. Bad Medicine Sport Fishing Cabo Fishing Report January 16, 2014 Winter conditions are setting in here in Cabo, and along with that comes the annual migration of Striped Marlin. The bite has been incredible off the light house on the Pacific side. Many boats are hooking 5-10 Marlin per day on live bait fished deep. The most exciting time of year is upon us here in Cabo. The water is at its warmest, and along with the 85-degree water come the Blue Marlin. And with the Blue (and Black) Marlin come the largest fishing tournaments in the world! The docks are already humming with excitement.
