Sushi Time Fish Report thru the 28th of August, 2014

Fish Report for the Week of the 22th thru the 28th of August, 2014

Sushi TimeA very slow week due to the visit of Hurricane Marie, an extremely dangerous hurricane category 5 that just passed by at approx. 500 km from Cabo, but affecting our sea conditions for three days.  Nevertheless the fishing picked up once the port re-opened to Sport Fishing.  With plenty of Bill Fish and Dorado available as well as small game fish, species biting are Bonita, Rooster, Needle Fish, Skip Jack and Wahoo.  With rainy and partly cloudy days, an average temperature of 90 F, and an average water temperature of 86 F.   With 31 fishing trips provided by Sushi Time Sport Fishing, we had a 96.77% effectiveness catching fish. Our fleet production this week is 21+ bonitas, Rooster, Needle Fish and skip jacks, 65+ Dorados in the +30 lbs. category, 11 Stripped Marlin and Sail Fish in the +145 lbs.  Our fish mostly caught this week on live bait. The highlight of this week was the Dorado caught in schools with 4 hits at one time on most cases. The Hot spot for this week was on the Pacific side from Sunset Beach to Finisterra.  Visit our Facebook Page to see our Daily catches Http://goo.gl/WTUuu

“The best fisherman I know try not to make the same mistakes over and over again; instead they strive to make new and interesting mistakes and to remember what they learned from them.”
