Sushi Time Fish Report to March 28th 2014
Sushi Time Fish Report for the Week of March 22nd thru the 28th, 2014

Fishing action remains slow for this past week, for fishermen coming to look for the yellowtail, I think they might be disappointed. There’s is yellowtail around, but certainly not in the numbers we’re used to seeing for this time of the year. With some odd bites this week I have noticed that the warm water species have really not left. They’ve slowed a bunch, but we’ve been catching dorado since Christmas and even quite a few marlin bites. Overall, not a bad week of fishing with an average temperature of 87º F, with clear skies and an average water temperature of 68º F. A good week with 39 fishing trips provided by Sushi Time Sport Fishing, we had a 89.74% effectiveness catching fish, with four +20 lbs and over 20 -15lbs dorados, 33+ bonitos, spanish mackerel and skip jacks, 9 rooster fish and five striped marlin, caught this week on slow trolled live bait and lures. The Hot spot for this week was on the pacific side by Solmar and on the Sea of Cortez by Cabeza de Ballena.
Hopefully conditions improve so we can offer our anglers better fishing next week.
Fishing is such great fun, I have often felt, that it really ought to be done in bed.
