Sushi Time Fish Report to April 4th, 2014

Sushi Time Fish Report for the Week of March 29th thru April 4th, 2014

frThe fishing action remains slow this past week, but a bit more typical for the kind of fishing we get during the spring time.  Overall not a bad week for small game fishing, the bite reflected the normal transitional bite we see for this time of the year, inshore fish species available are Bonito, Sierra, Skip Jack, Trigger Fish and Mako Shark, and some atypical Dorado bites, we did spot a few Stripped Marlin, unfortunately no bites.  With beautiful sunny days with an average temperature of 88º F, clear skies and an average water  temperature of 70º F.  A slow week with 25 fishing trips provided by Sushi Time Sport Fishing, we had a 92% effectiveness catching fish, with still lots of Whale Sittings and with 132+ bonitos, trigger and Skip Jacks, one Pargo, a couple of Mako Sharks and 6 Dorados caught this week on trolled baits, lures, and pink hoochies. The Hot spot for this week was on the pacific side from Solmar thru the old light house, where we caught most of our fish.

Hopefully conditions keep improving so we can offer our anglers better fishing next week.

I once gave up fishing. It was the most terrifying weekend of my life.
