Sushi Time Fish Report to 19 December

Sushi Time Fish Report for the Week of December 13th to December 19th, 2013sushi t

We had some really nice weather this week with an average temperature of 75º F, with mostly sunny days. The water remains nice and clear with an average temperature of 72º F, fishing charters picked up with 30 fishing trips provided this week by Sushi Time Sport Fishing, we had a 93.33% efectiveness catching fish, action has slowed down on billfish and dorado with much less specimens caught per boat compared to the last few weeks, a few strippers still hitting the lines and some good size dorados at about 2 miles out from Solmar, in the Pedregalito and los Arcos Area.  Dorado was caught on live bait, fresh ballyhoo, and some also enjoyed our pink and red/white lures.

We saw a lot more bites this week from Skip jacks, Spanish Mackerel by the Diamante area and Rooster fish by Sunset Beach, this week Ronnie at Sushi Time aimed for the smaller game fish as we had some young anglers who wanted to try their small rods they brought from home.

Predictions for next week show that the temperatures will remain average at hi 70ºs, so we expect to continue with solid fishing!

Angler of the week, Gerardo, repeat local fisherman, with three 25 lbs Dorados caught with Armando from Sushi Time I.
