Sushi Time Fish Report to 12 December

Sushi Time Fish Report for the Week of of December 6th to December 12th, 2013 FSH RP

We had some really nice cool weather this week with an average temperature of 79º F, partly cloudy most days. The water remains nice and clear, we had a slow week in terms of boat charters and fish caught, with about 21 fishing trips provided this week by Sushi Time Sport Fishing, we had a 85.71% effectiveness catching fish, still great action on billfish which is also the highlight of the week with twenty three (16), 120 lbs average Striped Marlin caught (16 getting released) in the pacific side from the Old Light House to los Arcos using cocinero, caballito and fresh ballyhoo.

As last week, dorado continues to appear in the picture with much less specimens caught compared to the last few weeks. Favorite area for fishing Dorado was from Pedregal to the old Light House on the Pacific Side, also biting mainly on fresh Ballyhoo and  Pink hoochies.

We saw a lot more bites on Wahoo this week using shiny pink steel-head lures, unfortunately no keepers.   Many huge Skip Jacks caught this week.

Predictions for next week show that the temperatures will remain average at hi 70ºs, so we expect to continue with solid fishing!
Angler of the week, Rustin, repeat customer from California, caught a 120 lbs Stripped Marlin and topped it, with three 25 lbs Dorados and one no-keeper Wahoo.
