Sabor a Cabo: By the Numbers
The eighth annual Sabor a Cabo gastronomy and wine festival attracted some 2,000 folks to the Questro Group’s Club Campestre golf course this weekend. Foodies and oenophiles from across the world turned up to sample the finest foods and wines the Baja Peninsula has to offer, as well as several international offerings.
In a recent post, Los Cabos Magazine writer Sandra Berry shared her experience at the festivities. Click here to read the story.
Here, we take a fun look at Sabor a Cabo—by the numbers.
Number of international chefs: 50
Number of tickets sold: 1,300 tickets sold, plus 30 VIP tickets
Number of festival attendees: 2,000
Number of wineries: 14 wineries—all Mexican—were represented
Number of restaurants: 30 restaurants and eight bars
Number of thanks: Lots. We spoke with Sabor a Cabo’s organizers and asked whether they had any special thanks to give out. We are extremely thankful to FICTURA (the tourist trust of Los Cabos), which has supported us economically. But most importantly, they have been promoting the event through several media … We are very grateful to Grupo Questro, with whom we’ve partnered to make Sabor a Cabo a yearly event that people around the world can identify as a place with magnificent settings that pair perfectly with the music and gastronomy. The concierge association has been very active, too, in promoting the events through their channels and we wish to continue this partnership over time.”
