This charming red brick eatery is located just off the main tourist drag—it’s about two blocks from Cabo Wabo—and serves Mexican specialties that represent the traditional culinary values of Los Cabos and Baja California Sur. Owner Alfredo Ceseña says Lolita’s began in 1967, the year his mother began cooking tamales and other treats for friends, neighbors, and the occasional tourist. The restaurant proper dates to 1988, when it opened half a block from its current location, on the corner of Niños Héroes and Matamoros, across the street from an elementary school.
