For more than 30 years, the exclusive Feinstein Jewelers has proved itself a Los Cabos institution. Owner Ed Feinstein has more than 60 years’ experience; he began his craft as a teenager while working for his father, also a jeweler. Feinstein is known for fair pricing, quality service, and his specialty: custom designs by either him or his clients. The focus here extends beyond the jewelry to include the customers, 85 percent of whom are locals. Feinstein enjoys working with color stones and 14 karat and 18 karat gold. Precious stones such as rubies, diamonds, sapphires and emeralds are his specialty. He charges wholesale prices, some 40 to 60 percent less than retail.
Feinstein opened his store in 1980 and quickly became a trusted and respected jeweler thanks to his craftsmanship, quality, and integrity. His products are designed to endure. His talented craftsmen are capable of creating, redesigning, and repairing most pieces. In addition to fine jewelry, the store also carries American greeting cards and fine gifts such as a variety of fascinating rhythm wall clocks that come to life on the hour. Feinstein has creative advertising: “Tell her you love her without saying a word” is a favorite.
