On Friday December 1, 2006 Baja California Sur Governor Narciso Agundez Montaño and Los Cabos Mayor Luís Armando Díaz will inaugurate this first event launching the festival.

Set in the colonial Plaza Mijares in San Jose del Cabo with the backdrop of the historic Mission Church, participating restaurants will offer samplings of their most exotic dishes, as well as the traditional Baja cuisine in their decorated booths. The festivities will take place from 6 pm to 10 pm, and the cost is $20 U.S. for adults and $10 U.S. for children. The price does not include beverages.

The second event will be held on December 5, 2006 on Tule Beach under the Baja sky lit by stars and a full moon. Participants will enjoy a full offering of Los Cabos most famous restaurants showcasing Baja cuisine "al fresco" on the beach with an exciting buffet of Baja fare. Fire pits and torches will guide guests through the offerings of signature dishes of freshly roasted meats and seafood, accompanied by Valle de Guadalupe, Baja wines. Dance music and entertainment will abound. And to finish, the traditional during the holiday season festive punch will be offered.

The activities will take place from 7 pm to 11 pm. The cost is $800 U.S. for a table of 10 people. The price includes beverages.

This elegant setting will permit guests to visit each chef and sample his/her specialty while enjoying the warmth of fire pits in the desert, music and entertainment within a lounge atmosphere, perfect for catching up on Cabos small talk with the locals and visitors all under the starlit sky.
