TECHNICAL MEETING BULLETIN WITH CANSTRUCTORS TEAM

Eager about the day to come, the teams participating in the 2nd Annual Design and Construction CANstruction attended at the meeting this August 20 for the regulations and logistics details.

Dinorah Tallabs, MoRe´s Deputy in Cabo; Andrea Nuñez, Operations Manager at Questro Foundation detailed all contest rules to the participants.

Sharing her experience, the teacher who coordinated all teams participating ITES in the first edition of CANstruction, architect Citlálic Mápula, talked a little bit about the difficulties and satisfactions experienced in 2013 and also gave some tips on how to make this year´s sculptures more attractive.

“The hardest thing to accomplish in the projects was to collect all the cans, but we did some restrictions for a couple of products. To ‘Trojan Horse’ we used a varietie of beens but being from the same brand; for ‘Chaplin’ we started collecting yellow labeled tuna cans, but being a more expensive collection it was difficult so we decided to change it to a yellow label sauce because the can was half of the price, “said the architect.

So far there are nine registered teams:

  1. Hilton Los Cabos: Frida Kahlo.
  2. Holiday Inn: Campana de Dolores.
  3. Programa de Becas Green: Stencil Pancho Villa.
