Fish Report for the Week of the 4th thru the 10th of July, 2014

sushi time sportfishingA good week of fishing for pangas, most pangas getting near limits some days although other days bringing back very little fish.  With plenty of Bill Fish, some Dorado and small game fish available, species biting are Bonita, Rooster, Needle Fish, Skip Jack and Wahoo.  With partly cloudy days, an average temperature of 98 F, and an average water temperature of  85 F.   A good week with 40 fishing trips provided by Sushi Time Sport Fishing, we had a 82.50% effectiveness catching fish. Our fleet production this week is 63+ bonitas, Rooster, Needle Fish and skip jacks, 31 Dorados in the +30 lbs category, 16 Stripped Marlin and Sail Fish in the +145 lbs and one 40lbs Wahoo.  Our fish mostly caught this week on live bait. The highlight of this week was the 40 lbs. Wahoo caught by Capt. Guillermo on Sushi Time III.  The Hot spot for this week was on the Pacific side from Sunset Beach to Finisterra.  Visit our Facebook Page to see our Daily catches Http://goo.gl/WTUuu

“There will be days when the fishing is better than one’s most optimistic  forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.”
