Daikoku Opens Cabo San Lucas Post
The popular micro-chain Daikoku has served Japanese food like sashimi, sushi, and desserts to denizens in mainland México since 1971. Now Los Cabos resident can enjoy the same privilege at a brand-new location in Cabo San Lucas.
Walk through the restaurant’s doors, and you are transported to Japan. Servers are dressed in kimonos and traditional Japanese garb. And all of the decorations—including plates and a water wheel on the terrace—as well as the music has been imported from the land of the rising sun.
The scene outside is just as lovely, with water coming out of the tables, the water wheel, and a waterfall. The menu will impress, too. There are 60 types of sushi, all made with fresh fish. (No frozen fish will be found here!) The menu is diverse, too. You will find noodles, fried rice, tempura, and several meat dishes.
