Sushi Time Fish Report to March 07

Sushi Time Fish Report for the Week of March 1st thru the 7th, 2014

frHonestly, the fishing action has been really slow this past few weeks.  Overall, not a bad week of fishing however, what it lacked in quality was made up for in numbers, normally this time of year, we’re chasing cold water inshore fish.  Species like Bonito, Trigger, Sierra and Skip jack.  If conditions are right, we’re also getting the big yellowtails as well.  With very windy conditions which is always a bummer for panga fishing and an average temperature of 82º F, with clear skies and an average water  temperature of 72º F.  A good week with 38 fishing trips provided by Sushi Time Sport Fishing, we had a 78.94% effectiveness catching fish, with 1 Stripped Marlin, 30+ Yellowtail, 30+ bonitos, trigger and skip jacks, and 19 rooster fish, where caught this week on slow trolled baits lures, rapalas and brown/white and blue/white jigs for the Yellow Tail. The Hot spot for this week was on the pacific side by the old light house, where we caught most of our fish.

Hopefully conditions improve so we can offer our anglers better fishing next week.

I don’t exaggerate…I just remember BIG !!!
