CABO SUP Paddle to the End
Stand up paddle boarding is the world’s fastest growing water sport, and premier Los Cabos activities company CABO SUP is celebrating the continued growth and popularity of the sport with their 2nd Annual CABO SUP Paddle to the End, a three-day event that includes a host of fun activities, including races, beach parties, paddle clinics, and an awards ceremony that honors the top three finishers in each race.
CABO SUP’s 2nd Annual Paddle to the End kicked off yesterday, May 16th, with registration and a reception at the chic and boutique Bahia Hotel & Beach Club. Festivities will continue today and tomorrow, with today’s slate headlined by a six mile stand up paddle board distance race from Medano Beach to Misiones.
Saturday’s schedule is jam packed, and includes a popular team relay race, a two-mile paddle to Land’s End, a beach party complete with bonfire, an awards ceremony, and late night fun at Bahia Hotel & Beach Club and Baja Junkie. Other weekend activities include beachise stand up paddle boarding clinics this afternoon, and a community-based beach cleanup effort tomorrow morning.
“We’re fortunate to have the support of many people,” said Lee Vosburgh at last night’s reception. Vosburgh and his wife Meredith are partners in Bahia Hotel & Beach Club, and own and operate CABO SUP. “We’re also fortunate,” he continued, “to live in one of the world’s premier travel destinations, and to have a access to a safe environment for people to enjoy this wonderful sport.”
In addition to CABO SUP and Bahia Hotel & Beach Club, other local sponsors include Snell Real Estate, Moduvated.com, Cabo Villas, Wild Canyon, Diamonds International, Lifestyle Los Cabos, Baja Junkie, Tropicat, Pez Gato, Cabo Mar, Pan di Bacco, and Medano Beach Cabo.
