View Accompany Dish – Either by morning, midday or at night, there is a place in Cabo San Lucas with an unbeatable view to accompany your dish. The main beach of Los Cabos called “El Médano” which can be translated as the “the Dune”. Long time ago before our town became a paradisiac resort destination, all the visitors could see from the beach was dune after dune, therefore the name was coined and nowadays we all call it “El Médano”.
Now our beloved beach is full with tourists, resorts, activities and restaurants with a variety of dishes and tastes. If you are in Cabo, there is no way you can avoid been here, I know people that spend their whole vacation in Medano Beach. Here we are again presenting you our Top Seven pick for restaurants in this marvelous and iconic place of Los Cabos.
Edith’s
This is one of the restaurants with more tradition in the area. It has been mentioned in the sitcom “Entourage” and is very well known amongst locals, a “casual-elegant restaurant”. The service is super attentive, and the cuisine is amazingly delicious. Specialized in seafood with a Mexican touch. The presentation of the dishes are very artistic. Reservations are a must here. Tel: 143-8001. Open all week from 5 to 10 pm. Located in Paseo del Pescador street, half block from the beach.
The Office
Once upon a time, when Cabo was starting back in the 70’s, there was a lonely palapa serving drinks with a small kitchen in the middle of the beach; the owner, a gringo Viejo (old gringo, as Carlos Fuentes, the Mexican writer would say) referred to the place as The Office. The name stuck. This is a very familiar and crowded restaurant, so you can imagine the food is good and the ambience is amazing. Mexican and Seafood. Sometimes reservations are in order because a lot of people visit this place. Open all week from 7 am to 11 pm. Tel: 143 3464. Located on the beach.
Mango Deck
This is the biggest restaurant in Medano Beach. Lots of party, lots of booze. During spring break Mango Deck is crowded with teens and college youngsters, there are numerous contests during the day and you can enjoy watching or participating and maybe even wining a bottle of booze or other prizes. Mexican and seafood are served here and a big bar for you to choose your own drink. The buffet is excellent and practically all you can eat. Open all week from 7 am to 11 pm. Cachet Beach Restaurant
A casual restaurant with Mexican, American and seafood menu. This is the beach club of the Cachet Beach Hotel. You can choose to seat under the roof or right on the beach. I was there for dinner and the presentation of the dishes were very attractive, the food was very good and super tasty. They have a good service and they are very attentive. Catch of the day is a very good option here, grilled, steamed or fried. Avenida del Pescador 1, right where the street finished and the beach starts. Open daily 7 am to 11 pm. Tel: 105 1794.
Milky Way
A delicious cafe and deli where you can eat, have a super view and stay on the economic range. My personal recommendation are the “chapatas”. Also the milkshakes, they are out of this world. Sushi and Seafood are also a delicacy in this place. The restaurant has an upper deck if you want to have a better view of the beach. Located on the beach, at the very end of the street Paseo del Pescador, right behind the sculpture of the fishermen. Tel: 143-8232. Open daily from 8 am to 7 pm.

Tabasco Beach
Located on the beach between Cascadas Hotel and the arroyo Salto Seco (dry river bed). This restaurant has been here for a long time, their specialty are the Burguers, and if you like them, they are a must in Cabo. They also offer a good variety of Tacos and Seafood. Happy hour cocktails are available all day. This restaurant has survived two very destructive hurricanes, Juliette in 2011 and Odile in 2014. Cel: 624 184-8513. Open daily from 7 am to 11 pm.
Sur Beach House
This is the Bahía Hotel casual and stylish beach club. Mexican and seafood menu; steaks, sushi and salads are highly recommended. You can choose to be seated under the roof or right on the sandy beach. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Dishes has an excellent presentation. Comfortable chairs and very big umbrellas, very well appreciated during summer. Located at the end of Cormoranes street. Tel: 143-1890 ext. 770. Open daily from 8 am to 11 pm.
