The residents of Ventanas Residenes are quite lucky to have a restaurant of the caliber of Santitos right on campus so they can dine on its beautiful terrace or enjoy a meal prepared by the chef and delivered to their home. Of course, you don’t have to live at Ventanas to take advantage of what this restaurant has to offer. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Santitos boasts such items as Belgium waffles with Chantilly cream for breakfast or Sunday brunch. There are also wood-fired pizzas or Kami-Kami sushi for lunch, as well as a wide dinner selection. On this particular evening, chef Marco Magaña prepared surf and turf brochette with jumbo shrimp and filet mignon on a bed of fresh roasted tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms, and potatoes. Santitos specializes in a combination of Italian, Mediterranean, and Japanese (think sushi) cuisine.
