The shrimp themselves are larger than in most other shrimp specialty restaurants and their mission is to bring the fiesta to your palate. This restaurant is a fiesta for shrimp lovers and the undisputed king of shrimp in Los Cabos. Locals and tourist can both enjoy The Shrimp Factory because the menu offers many different selections and it would take nearly a dozen visits to finish off every available shrimp dish listed on the delicious menu.
The service is also first class, and this friendly ambience permeates throughout the open walls and pulsates into town like the flickering lights, which make this place vibrantly stand out amongst all other area restaurants.
If you love shrimp, The Shrimp Factory is your holy, mouthwatering temple. Delicious shrimp are quickly delivered in an intimate open-air environment. The easily accessible dimly lit restaurant is illuminated by bright flickering lights, creating a festive ambience. Mexican music accompanies the delicious food, which is mainly a diverse selection of shrimp dishes cooked to perfection.
This unpretentious restaurant is casual, with a full bar. The delectable menu even offers Mexican and American options for those who don’t worship seafood. Both Xochtil and myself ordered the Camaron Imperial, relleno de queso y envuelto con tocino (Imperial Shrimp, stuffed with cheese and wrapped in bacon). We savored the rich flavors with a Chardonnay.
The service is amazing and no reservations are required. The friendly, bilingual wait staff will provide tourist advice if you inquire, and always answer all your questions with the utmost of courtesy.
