About 200 Los Cabos well-wishers gathered on the Cabo San Lucas Marina on Friday, June 26 for a Meet & Greet fiesta as a culmination of the filming by Bill Boyce and his crew who have been traveling the southern half of the Baja for the television series, Destination Baja Sur.
Linda McHatton and Jorge Arteaga of PR Solutions were responsible for the planning of the “all you can eat and drink” event hosted by Solomon’s Landing Restaurant. Music provided by Brian Flynn kept the atmosphere upbeat and in a party mood while a variety of appetizers and beverages were enjoyed by the crowd throughout the evening.
Some of the dignitaries seen at the party were Daniel Uribe, President of the Public Relations Association of Los Cabos and Jesus Corral, President of the Madrugadores Group and Secretary of the Historic Center of San Jose del Cabo. Brian Solomon, associate-producer of the series, welcomed the party-goers and introduced Boyce and his filming crew who each spoke about some of their experiences while filming that started in Turtle Bay and ended in Cabo San Lucas this week. Having lived in the Baja for many years, Boyce feels that it is such a special place and the world needs to see it as it really is. Part documentary, part reality, the show will go to over 128 million households in the U.S., Canada, Caribbean, Central America and Africa.
Destination Baja Sur is a 26-week prime time television series to be aired on NBC Sports, the Pursuit Channel, World Fishing Network and Wild TV Africa starting in January, 2016.
